Early flight ticket and hotel room booking (in view of the brisk international business traffic in Nice (airport) and Monte Carlo (hotel), it is always advantageous in terms of price-performance to arrange the bookings at least 1 month in advance)
✔️ Travelers aged 16 and over from Germany and all EU countries must present a PCR test or antigen test carried out no more than 24 hours before the start of the journey. Alternatively, proof of a full vaccination status with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or proof of recovery from a COVID-19 infection that is at least 11 days but no more than six months old must be provided. Excluded are travelers from the French departments of Alpes Maritimes and Var and the Italian province of Imperia, as well as people who regularly have to cross the border because of their job, and professional travelers whose urgency or frequency does not allow such tests.
Since August 12, 2022, entry into the Principality from non-EU countries no longer depends on the presentation of a valid health passport.
Without the submission of a corresponding test result or proof of vaccination, travelers from all countries are obliged to comply with a quarantine by the Monegasque health authorities. Having a PCR test performed at a licensed on-site laboratory can shorten the quarantine period. Please also inform yourself about the current entry requirements on the website of the Monaco government.
